PA ETHICS PROJECT

In 2006, the NCCPA Foundation partnered with the Physician Assistants Educators Association (PAEA) to produce Concepts in PA Excellence: Exploring Ethics. This DVD-based program brings to life six real-life ethical dilemmas that all-too-often face PAs in their studies and in practice. Designed to spark discussion about important ethical issues, Exploring Ethics features cases that raise topics such as academic dishonesty, inappropriate information sharing about certification or recertification exams, substance misuse, prescribing practices and more. Its accompanying facilitators guide provides instructors with preparation suggestions, a discussion guide, handouts that can be reproduced for participants and other valuable teaching tools.

The Foundation provided a complimentary copy of Exploring Ethics to all PA programs in fall 2006 and is now pleased to offer it to organizers of CME conferences.
